I attended numerous trainings on depression and ways to assist people in improving their mood. I typically use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) when addressing symptoms of depression. I facilitated a group title Cognitive Behavioral Group Therapy for Depression for individuals who feel more comfortable in group settings.
I attended numerous trainings on anxiety. Typically I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help individuals reduce their symptoms. With the use of worksheets and practice, I help the client learn to mange their symptoms.
For the past 4 years, I worked with this population. I have experience working with these individuals by providing access to community services. This includes medication management and compliance. I received evidence based training around effective therapy for this population.
