About My Clients
Tucker works with individuals and couples who are navigating anxiety, depression, or major life transitions. His clients often feel like they've been stuck in the same patterns and are ready for someone who will actually listen, then help them move forward.
My Background and Approach
Tucker holds an M.A. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Liberty University and a B.A. in Psychology from Gonzaga University. He's Gottman Method trained and works under supervision by Sara Yarbrough. He specializes in supporting young men, couples, and individuals through anxiety, depression, addiction, and major life transitions. His approach draws from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), and is deeply client-centered; he wants to know your story, not just your symptoms. He tailors everything to what will actually work for you.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Tucker believes therapy is something like a pilgrimage, the path isn't always smooth, and stretches of it feel hard and disorienting. But you don't walk it alone. He sees his role as the steady presence beside you for the real, hard parts of the journey. He believes the most meaningful progress often lives in the moments when something real finally gets said out loud, the moments of genuine vulnerability and honesty. He won't flinch when things get hard in session. Whether someone shuts down, gets angry, or wants to quit, he wants clients to know he can handle whatever they bring in. His hope for every client: leave feeling listened to, understood, encouraged, and better than when you came in.
