Dr. Feinberg specializes in the use of ACT therapy for anxiety, trauma, and depression. ACT is a short-term evidence-based therapy used to help identify what is keeping you stuck. Through an evaluation of your values, mindfulness techniques, and exercises to help you let go of unhelpful beliefs we can help you stop struggling with anxiety and start living.
Dr. Feinberg received specialized training and supervision with the use of CBT for anxiety, trauma, and insomnia. In addition, she has provided peer consultation for PTSD treatments, as well as supervision and consultation to psychology interns on a weekly basis for both CBT-I and PTSD related evidence-based treatment.
Dr. Feinberg completed a Phoenix VA-APA accredited internship where she received specialized training in evidence-based treatments for PTSD, including Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Prolonged Exposure Therapy (PE), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). Dr. Feinberg completed the CPT certification program for the VA, including an intensive training and year-long consultation group.
Dr. Tslil Feinberg is a licensed clinical psychologist (PSY30632) in San Diego, California specializing in sleep, trauma, and anxiety-related disorders. She has trained at the Veterans Medical Research Foundation (VMRF) Hoarding and Anxiety Lab before spending a year at the SDSU Center for Understanding and Treating Anxiety where she received extensive training in evidence-based therapy for a range of anxiety disorders including panic attacks, OCD, hoarding, GAD, PTSD, and social phobia.
Dr. Feinberg received specialized training in Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia (CBT-I) the current gold-standard treatment for insomnia. Dr. Feinberg has experience treating veterans with co-occurring PTSD and insomnia. In addition, Dr. Feinberg provided peer consultation for PTSD treatments, as well as supervision and consultation to psychology interns on a weekly basis for both CBT-I and PTSD related evidence-based therapy.
