About My Clients

I love working with BIPOC, LGBTQIA2S+, neurodivergent, kinky, and ENM practicing/exploring individuals and relationships. I welcome all and honor your exploration and humxn experience.

My Background and Approach

I have been a practicing Certified Master Herbalist East/West botanicals, a Certified Reiki Master/Teacher III, functional medicine practitioner with my own private practice for over 16 years. I graduated from Northwestern with an MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I am a Sex Therapist in training with SHA and member of the American Association for Sexuality Educators, Counselors, and Therapists (AASECT). My approach is bio-psycho-social-sexual. As a therapist I incorporate integrative, somatic, psychodynamic, relational life therapy, attachment, solution focused, person centered, humanistic, adlerian, multicultural, and embodied experiential elements. I utilize many different techniques and approaches based on what each person or relationship needs in a holistic way. Therapy is political. Human Rights and social justice are at the core of counseling. What we do together is more than talk therapy. Herbal Medicine is decolonizing by nature this combination is powerful.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

As a queer, multiracial woman of indigenous descent-social justice is a part of my spirit. Decolonizing our healing is integral, the way I practice herbology de-centers the medical system, connecting to nature is my spirituality, and engaging in the Counseling and Sex Therapy fields through social justice is a reflection of this part of my own identity. I believe in honoring our journey and in self-empowerment practices while working to dismantle broken systems from within. Exploring the ways we can move from resilience to thriving in congruence with our nature. I believe that movement and music are medicine and being relational starts from within. Moving from rigidity to flexibility can be life changing and creating the right boundaries is crucial. I believe in love being more powerful than fear and leading with our strengths being critical to self actualization.
