About My Clients
Dr. Rao has experience working with children and adolescents with varying clinical needs including trauma and developmental disabilities. Dr. Rao also has experience working with individuals who have been involved in domestic violence situations. As a South-Asian women who immigrated to the US at a young age, Dr. Rao also has a particular interest and focus in supporting those who are managing the challenges of being bicultural.
My Background and Approach
Dr. Rao uses a wide range of therapeutic techniques and modalities to help children and young adults manage challenging situations. Modalities include Cognitive Behavioral and Play Therapy techniques.
