About My Clients

I work best with individuals, couples, and families navigating anxiety, depression, cultural identity, intergenerational trauma, and relationship challenges. I’m especially passionate about supporting BIPOC, immigrant, and first-generation clients seeking to better understand themselves and their roots. My ideal clients are ready to explore their story in a space grounded in empathy, cultural humility, and authentic connection.

My Background and Approach

I am an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist with a Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology and clinical experience supporting individuals, couples, and families across diverse backgrounds. I specialize in working with anxiety, depression, cultural identity concerns, relationship challenges, and intergenerational trauma. I bring a trauma-informed, client-centered approach that blends Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), narrative therapy, and mindfulness. As a bilingual therapist and child of immigrants, I understand the complexity of navigating two worlds and the importance of honoring your personal and cultural story. Whether you're exploring identity, working through emotional pain, or looking to strengthen relationships, I provide a safe and affirming space to support your healing and growth. My goal is to help you gain clarity, reconnect with your inner strength, and move toward a more empowered and authentic life.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

As a Vietnamese American therapist and first-generation immigrant, I understand the challenges of navigating cultural expectations, identity, and belonging. I’m passionate about creating safe, inclusive spaces for BIPOC, LGBTQIA+, and immigrant communities to feel seen and supported. I believe in the healing power of storytelling, community, and connection. I stand for equity and social justice, and support movements such as Black Lives Matter and mental health access for marginalized groups. My work is grounded in cultural humility, curiosity, and a deep respect for each person’s lived experience. Outside of therapy, I enjoy meditation, cooking traditional foods, and spending time with loved ones. I aim to walk alongside clients with compassion and authenticity as they reclaim their voice, find balance, and grow into their fullest selves.
