As a veteran of the Armed Forces I am sensitive to the ongoing needs required to transition from military to civilian life as well as the stress placed on the family members.  

As a certified clinical trauma professional everything is do is from the lens of how trauma impacts our lives on a daily basis.

American culture pushes the belief that we must pull ourselves up by the bootstraps and push through but let’s face it there are times when this just isn’t possible and we need the help of someone who has gone through this before. 

As a skilled DBT practitioner I believe everyone can benefit from the skills provided.

In my opinion the Gottman Method is the gold standard in couples counseling. As a trained therapist in the Gottman method I believe there isn't anything a couple cannot overcome and build the relationship of their dreams, if they are willing to put in the work.
