My Background and Approach
My background training involves somatic experiencing, mindfulness, and consciousness, health and healing. Gottman informed for couples. Leader for Gottman course. I show people how to calm their nervous systems and stay connected to themselves and their experience while interacting. Using unique, straight forward and step by step process, i help you get connected to you so you can make self honoring choices in a non blaming way. I help you identify your goals for treatment and offer you various pathways to get there-based on what works for you! Maybe that means practicing communication skills in session—or maybe it means working to increase self esteem, reduce stress, or remove your blocks to being vulnerable. My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that humans are multi-dimensional beings who can create healing on all levels. I believe we experience unpleasant emotions as a result of our needs not being met. Sometimes it's because we are not connected to what we feel or what we need. Sometimes it's because we have learned patterns of sacrifice and avoidance... In any case, learning how to care enough about yourself to heal the gaps in your relationship with yourself is vital for healthy, adult functioning in your relationships.
