About My Clients

Struggling to navigate life and your relationships? Feeling tired and stuck? Let me help you explore what's holding you back. My passionate focus is working with couples, individuals, and young adults experiencing unresolved conflict, communication struggles, major life transitions, feelings of purposelessness, addiction, professional and academic anxiety, and many other issues.

My Background and Approach

In my work with clients, I create a curious, safe, and collaborative space for change to take place. I use a variety of models and theories to fit your needs and situation.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I believe in human self-worth, self-confidence, and self-respect. I believe in fighting against mental health stigma. Especially as an African-American. This is why I’m active not just in therapy work but on of all my social media platforms as an advocate. Just so you know, I believe in laughing very loudly. I’m a millennial who loves learning from and engaging with the generations before me and after me. My four grandparents were part of the Silent Generation. I miss them very much. I believe in God and am a follower of Jesus. If you don’t, that's ok. I’m from Chicago. Not a suburb of Chicago. Ketchup on a hotdog or Polish sausage is never okay. Pizza puffs cannot be explained. They must be experienced. My marriage is multiethnic and multiracial. We’d like to have kids. We’ll see what happens. I also see dogs and homeownership in the near future for us as well.
