Your strong desire is to feel safe and secure with yourself and the people you are in relationship with. Right now you are experiencing anxiety or self-doubt or are withdrawn because of relationships that have left you hurt or harmed. It's hard to believe that there is something different, something better out there. There is hope and healing available. You can find new ways to engage in relationship and find satisfying connection.
My Background and Approach
A masters degree in Marriage, Couples and Family from George Fox University and a bachelors degree in Applied Management from Azusa Pacific University give a breadth of understanding of human experience in close relationships and business /work environments. Embracing and using the systemic approach from this training brings into focus the importance of all relationships in our lives and the influence on our experience. Therapy is a place to consider all the parts that make you - you. Your thinking, your emotions, and your experiences tell a story that we will use together to help you find relief from anxiety, stress, and dissatisfaction you are experiencing and to find a more satisfying life. I use Emotionally Focused Therapy, Internal Family Systems, mindfulness, and attachment theory to inform and structure the therapy process.
