About My Clients
I work with clients of ages, who come from different backgrounds, and have different issues. I have experience in religious trauma, LGBTQ community, depression, anxiety, trauma, Veterans/Military Community, self-esteem, anxiety, and more.
My Background and Approach
I earned my Masters of Science in Social Work from the University of Louisville in 2019. Prior to that, I earned my Bachelor of Arts degree from Morehead State University in Philosophy and Religious Studies back in 2012. You may be asking "why philosophy and religious studies?" - well, I jokingly told my family that people would pay to talk to me about life and philosophy... and in a way that is what I do now for a living, I talk to people about their life, help them set goals, and to work towards those goals.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
When it comes to therapy I use a very eclectic approach; not everyone has been formed and shaped by the same cookie cutter in life, because we're all different and unique, the way we're treated in therapy and life in general should be catered to meet our individual needs. I treat my clients the way that I would want to be treated; with respect, care, and non-judgment. I believe in treating others how I want to be treated, kindness matters.
