About My Clients
Is the transition to adulthood a bit tougher than you anticipated? Adulthood brings with it many challenges that are often anxiety-provoking to navigate alone. I have experience giving clients the tools to learn how to set boundaries in personal, family, and work relationships, make life's tough's decisions, and explore that harsh inner critic. You're ready to start feeling independent and confident in your own abilities, and I can help.
My Background and Approach
I believe that therapy is a collaborative process. From the very first session, it's important for me to establish a relationship and get to know you as a person, not just the current issue that is bringing you to therapy. I utilize a mindfulness approach that encourages staying aware in the present moment without judgment. Through the use of cognitive behavioral techniques, mindfulness, self-compassion, and lots of repetition, we can learn to slow down and become more aware, get curious, and be much kinder to ourselves. Therapy is a partnership, and through working together, we can develop goals that highlight your many strengths and help you grow into the best version of yourself. It takes a lot of courage to seek out assistance from a therapist and take the first step toward feeling better and empowered to make changes in your life. Congratulations on taking this step.
