About My Clients
Life isn’t always the easiest thing to do. Sometimes we get overwhelmed by situations, people, or even our own thoughts and feelings. The good news is, we’re all in this together—you’re not alone! Whether you'e struggling with relationships, identity, spirituality, or mental health issues, it can be helpful and even freeing to have someone to confide in.
My Background and Approach
Through the framework of acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), my job is to come alongside you as you work toward becoming the person you want to be. Additionally, I am well-versed in cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and existential approaches, which provide a blend of theory and technique to address a variety of presenting concerns and find meaning.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that everyone struggles with what life brings from time to time. Societies, systems, families, and relationships can all be broken, but I do not believe individuals are. We are just humans, all trying our best to figure this out. Our minds are problem solvers, and as a result, we can find ourselves struggling with perceived problems—and potentially making things worse. My job is to help people find new ways of relating to internal and external experiences while figuring out valued directions to go in that make life meaningful.
