My Background and Approach
Often our life experiences or a change in lifestyle can lead us to feel unfulfilled. Therapy is a process of individualized self-discovery that can help you find enjoyable ways to stay connected and increase your support systems. My life work has been in home health care, working with children recovering from trauma, helping individuals learn to cope with work stress, and working with older adults. I draw from Solution Focus Brief Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness and Narrative. My areas of specialization are depression, anxiety, grief and loss, capacity building, and psychoeducation.

I believe in helping you set goals and work towards achievement by promoting positive change, building on strengths, and increasing support systems; however, there are times when it is essential to your treatment plan to the find the root of the problem to begin the healing process.
