About My Clients
I work with men, teen boys, and couples who feel overwhelmed, stuck, or disconnected. You may be facing anxiety, anger, trauma, work stress, low self-esteem, relationship conflict, infidelity, or difficulty expressing emotions. My background helps me understand the pressures of high-stress careers and the challenge of asking for help. I offer practical, compassionate, and nonjudgmental support, with faith integration available when desired.
My Background and Approach
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with a master’s degree in counseling and specialized training in EMDR, Level II Gottman Method Couples Therapy, and Gottman Affair and Trauma Recovery. I also use CBT, DBT, ACT, and mindfulness-based strategies to help clients understand patterns, regulate emotions, challenge unhelpful thoughts, and make practical changes. I specialize in counseling men, teen boys, first responders, and couples facing anxiety, anger, trauma, low self-esteem, infidelity, communication problems, and emotional disconnection. My approach is direct, compassionate, and collaborative, with optional Christian faith integration based on each client’s preferences.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests

My Christian faith influences how I view hope, forgiveness, purpose, and the value of each person. However, I respect that every client has a unique background, identity, culture, and set of beliefs. I do not impose my personal beliefs in counseling. Faith is incorporated only when a client requests it and in a way that supports the client’s goals. I am especially passionate about reducing the stigma surrounding men’s mental health and creating a place where people can speak honestly without feeling judged or weak. I believe counseling should balance compassion with accountability and help clients develop the courage, skills, a
