About My Clients
I'm best capable to serve populations with Autism, ADHD and Trauma. I have experience with autistic adults who are transitioning into the roles of adulthood, as well as newly-diagnosed adults who are navigating what it means to be autistic. I also use a trauma-informed lens to help clients understand the impacts of past events on their current struggles, and utilize EMDR to support clients in processing traumatic events.
My Background and Approach
I started studying social work in 2018, and have continued down that path to independent licensure. I continue to engage in opportunities to further my education and training in my chosen areas, and prefer to approach clients from a relational lens while also addressing clinical aspects of the work through CBT and EMDR approaches. I tend towards a solution-focused mindset, and will work with you in a goal-oriented manner, using your own interests to support your growth.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I'm an avid martial artist, gamer, enjoy anime, as well as reading and writing for my blog. I support a local non-profit in putting on tabletop role-play therapy groups for youth and adolescents.
