About My Clients
I have specialized training in working with trauma, depression, anxiety, and the LGBTQIA+ community, including individuals who identify as transgender and non-binary. I earned my Psy.D. in Applied Clinical Psychology from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology, my M.S. in Clinical Research from Walden University, and a Post-Graduate Certification in Clinical Psychology from Fielding University, an APA-accredited institution.
My Background and Approach
My therapeutic approach includes providing my patients with a psychodynamic, integrated, client-centered approach to therapy. Within this approach I use integrations of cognitive -behavioral therapy (CBT), internal family systems (IFS/Parts work), and eye movement desensitization reprocessing (EMDR) to help you meet your mental health goals. At the present time sessions are held via telehealth. I am a doctoral level psychological associate from the Chicago School of Professional Psychology, currently under the supervision of Dr. Gregg Baringoldz, a licensed Psychologist in the Newport Beach and Long Beach areas.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Everyone has a journey & has been dealt with a set of cards to navigate through life. There are times in which life experiences can alter our perspective of life. While life can throw curve balls there are tools available to catch & redirect those curve balls. I'm an active member of the LGBTQIA community & promote being comfortable w/ the person in the mirror. "You can lie to the world; but you can never lie to yourself" Be truthful to yourself!!!
