About My Clients
I am passionate about helping my clients work through anxiety, depression, trauma, and grief in order to tap into inner healing and making meaningful change. I also hope to help process inter-generational and cultural or race related issues and trauma in an all inclusive space. Other things we will work through in therapy may include: PTSD, Life Transitions, Relationship Conflict, Time Management, Unhealthy Boundaries, Self- Esteem, Self- Identity.
My Background and Approach
I believe that my clients can reach inner healing and meaningful change when they feel nurtured and supported. My clinical approach includes: Person centered approach, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Humanistic, Mindfulness, Trauma-Informed Interventions, Solution-Focused therapy, Strength-based approach, Motivational Interviewing.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that each individual has the potential to reach inner healing and to reach the life that they want to see. Running a practice that is inclusive and body positive is an important and essential piece to my practice. I welcome minorities, Asian-American Pacific Islander (AAPI), Black, Indigenous and people of color (BIPOC), Latinx, LGBTQ+, military veterans, persons with disabilities, and others, to our safe space for therapy and counseling. Life can be defeating, lonely, and challenging; I look forward to the opportunity to help you work through some of life's challenges.
