About My Clients
My clients have been through a lot — and are finally ready to do something about it. They're navigating trauma, PTSD, substance use, depression, anxiety, mood disorders, or co-occurring challenges. Many have relapsed, hit rock bottom, or felt like no one understands the full picture. I work with people dealing with bipolar disorder, BPD, codependency, emotional dysregulation, and suicidal thoughts. You don't have to have it figured out. You just have to be willing to show up.
My Background and Approach
I hold a Master's in Education with licensure as a Clinical Mental Health Counselor and Advanced Alcohol and Drug Abuse Counselor — giving me a dual lens that most therapists don't have. I understand that mental health and addiction are rarely separate issues, and I'm trained to treat both at once. My approach is direct, compassionate, and practical. I don't believe in one-size-fits-all therapy. Whether you're processing deep trauma, rebuilding after relapse, or learning to manage emotions that feel out of control, I tailor our work to what you actually need. I have extensive experience with trauma and PTSD, co-occurring disorders, mood and personality disorders, chronic relapse, suicidal ideation, and crisis intervention. That means when you walk in carrying something heavy and complicated, I'm not caught off guard — I've been there with clients before, and I know how to help. My goal is simple: to give you real tools, a safe space, and someone in your corner who won't give up on you
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe every person — regardless of background, identity, or how many times they've struggled — deserves access to compassionate, judgment-free mental health care. I am committed to creating a space where all are welcome, including members of the LGBTQ+ community, those in recovery, individuals who have been involved in the justice system, and anyone who has felt dismissed or misunderstood by the healthcare system. I believe in the dignity of every person who walks through my door. Shame has no place in healing — and neither does the idea that someone is too far gone to get better. I am passionate about reducing the stigma surrounding addiction and mental illness in our community, and I am dedicated to meeting clients exactly where they are — without judgment, without conditions, and without giving up.
