About My Clients
Tend to be sensitive, stable, often with committed yoga or meditation practices, employed and navigating relationships, some BIPOC, some LGBTQ+. Some with intergenerational trauma. Some are supported by bodywork practitioners, different types of therapists, and shamanic journeys.
My Background and Approach
Medical school at USC, residency training in psychiatry at California Pacific Medical Center, integrative psychiatrist at the Osher Center for Integrative Health at UCSF for 20+ years, traveled to India in medical school, long-term meditator, skilled at facilitating healing trajectories for people who are a therapeutic match with me. Sometimes prescribe medication (generally not abusable ones) and supplements. Into somatic body-based wisdom.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Spiritual, less and less religious, more and more skeptical of white supremacist capitalist heteronormative colonial patriarchy which unfortunately is everywhere. Ha!
