About My Clients
As you stare at yourself in the mirror getting ready for another day, you put on that brave face, the one everyone expects to see. Deep inside though, something doesn't feel quite right. Your heart feels heavy with worries you've never shared, moments of sadness you hide from others, relationships that feel increasingly distant, and the nagging feeling you might be on the wrong path. Nobody sees these struggles, but they're very real to you. Together in therapy, we'll make sense of your pain.
My Background and Approach
I'm a licensed mental health clinician with over 10 years of experience providing therapy to individuals, families, and groups in the greater Los Angeles area. I received my training across a wide range of clinical settings, including non-profit community organization, school-based counseling, and group practice. Today, I own and manage a thriving virtual private practice. I love working with Millennials, Gen Z, students, professionals, creatives, highly sensitive and neurodivergent individuals seeking holistic, culturally sensitive, relational psychotherapy. I specialize in BIPOC mental health, focusing on identity development, racial trauma, and intergenerational conflict. I treat anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, relationship conflict, and more. During our initial sessions, we'll examine these issues in depth and create a collaborative plan to help you reclaim your life. Symptoms will gradually lift within the first few months, with lasting improvement over time.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
My therapeutic style is warm, unassuming, and responsive. We'll explore your personal history, including formative childhood experiences, significant life events, family dynamics, and core beliefs that shaped you. We'll uncover the roots of unwanted patterns in your life, pinpointing when, how, and why they emerged. I'll guide you in recognizing your blind spots and defense mechanisms, empowering you to align your actions with your authentic self. Sometimes, the bravest thing one can do is simply reach out and say "I'm ready for change." I'm so glad you've found your way here, and I look forward to hearing your story, encouraging new insights, and providing you with tools for meaningful, lasting transformation!
