About My Clients
Are you living? I mean TRULY living? That full wholehearted life that feels authentically you, or do you feel overwhelmed or stuck? You used to feel hopeful, optimistic, and motivated, but something changed. Maybe it’s problems in your relationship, increased stress at home or work, or traumatic experiences from your past of which you can’t let go. On the outside you seem to have it all together, but on the inside you’re secretly falling apart. Knowing the façade is beginning to crack.
My Background and Approach
I received my Master degree in Community Counseling and a Doctoral Degree in Counselor Education and Supervision. I am a perfectly imperfect person that love the work that I do, and I consider being a professional counselor a profound honor and privilege. One of the reasons I hold this work so sacred is because I know first-hand what it’s like to dismiss my own inner guide in order to fulfill society or others’ expectations. Like many of my clients, I looked fine and even successful from the outside, but on the inside, I felt out of sync, inauthentic, and a fraud. I was constantly in fear that someone was going to look behind the curtain and see “the real me”. It was through my own healing experiences that I began the work of releasing the unattainable fantasy of what and who I thought I was supposed to be. I took the brave step toward living in my own authenticity and purpose, while also resting comfortably in the knowledge that I am a work in progress.
