About My Clients
I work best with individuals and couples who want depth, honesty, and real growth. Many are navigating relationship strain, communication breakdowns, anxiety, grief, trauma, or major life transitions. I specialize in high-conflict or emotionally reactive couples and thoughtful individuals who feel stuck in patterns. My clients are motivated, reflective, and ready to understand themselves more fully so they can build stronger, more authentic relationships.
My Background and Approach
I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist Associate in South Carolina with specialized training in attachment-based, systemic, and trauma-informed therapy. I am EMDR-trained and currently in consultation toward certification, which allows me to help clients move beyond insight alone and process trauma, grief, and emotionally charged experiences in a meaningful way. My clinical focus includes couples navigating high-conflict or emotionally reactive patterns, as well as individuals experiencing anxiety, relationship stress, grief, and life transitions. I understand how quickly communication can escalate and how painful disconnection can feel. Clients often tell me they appreciate my calm, grounded presence and my ability to be both compassionate and direct. I bring professional training alongside lived wisdom. Therapy with me is a steady, intentional space where you feel supported, understood, and gently challenged to grow into a more authentic, connected version of yourself.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe therapy works best when it is rooted in honesty, personal responsibility, and compassion. I value strong relationships, integrity, and the courage it takes to look inward. My work is grounded in the belief that people are capable of growth when they feel both supported and gently challenged. I care deeply about strengthening marriages and families, supporting those navigating grief and life transitions, and helping individuals become more grounded and authentic. I believe healing happens in connection and that meaningful change comes from curiosity, accountability, and intentional living. Outside of my practice, I value faith, family, community, and living an active, balanced life. My approach reflects these values: steady, respectful, and growth-oriented. My office is a welcoming space for individuals and couples from diverse backgrounds who are ready to engage in thoughtful, meaningful work.
