About My Clients
I work with individuals, families, adolescents, and teens who are struggling with anxiety, depression, mood disorders, trauma, and ADHD. I also support people who feel overwhelmed, stuck, or disconnected, who are dealing with big emotions, life transitions, relationship struggles, family conflict, or self-esteem. You don't have to have it all figured out to begin. We'll work at your pace, building on your strengths toward the change you want.
My Background and Approach
I've worked in mental health as a social worker for over 20 years, across clinical, community, and crisis settings. As a military mom and as someone who has walked through some of life's hardest seasons, I understand how heavy things can get. My approach is collaborative and client-centered, and I draw on cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), cognitive restructuring, solution-focused therapy, motivational interviewing, and problem-solving. My philosophy is grounded in attachment, trauma-informed care, and mindfulness-based approaches, including grounding techniques you can use outside of session. I provide therapy under clinical supervision.
