I support clients with varied concerns, but specialize in anxiety, depression, adjustment/life transitions, adolescents, and women issues.
My Background and Approach
I believe in establishing rapport with my clients by providing empathetic, culturally sensitive counseling as they confront the issues they’re dealing with. My therapeutic approach is integrative, encompassing person-centered therapy (PCT), cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), and other evidence-based therapies.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe there is help and there is hope, no matter how bleak the circumstance. I also believe that acknowledgment is the first step to change, and the fact that you are reading this in your search for a therapist is that first step. Congratulations!! I celebrate your transparency and boldness. I believe every human is worthy of respect and strive to provide a safe, warm, and non-judgmental therapeutic space. I volunteer as an American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP) Field Advocate and participate in their annual Out Of The Darkness Community Walk.
