About My Clients
I work best with adults who are navigating anxiety, depression, PTSD, complex trauma, childhood abuse, domestic violence, grief, relationship stress, and major life transitions. Many of my clients are high-functioning on the outside but feel overwhelmed, disconnected, or stuck in survival mode. I help clients build safety, strengthen boundaries, regulate emotions, and create healthier patterns so they can feel more grounded, confident, and in control of their lives.
My Background and Approach
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with extensive experience supporting adults impacted by trauma, abuse, anxiety, depression, and difficult life experiences. My approach is trauma-informed, culturally responsive, and holistic, drawing from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) skills, mindfulness, motivational interviewing, grounding, and nervous-system regulation strategies. I believe therapy should be practical as well as compassionate. We will work together to understand the patterns that keep you feeling stuck, develop tools you can use outside of sessions, strengthen boundaries and self-trust, and create meaningful change at a pace that feels safe and sustainable.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe healing is not one-size-fits-all. I value compassion, personal autonomy, cultural humility, and creating a space where clients can be fully seen without judgment. I believe people can honor their lived experiences while learning new ways to respond to stress, relationships, and old survival patterns. My work is grounded in respect, collaboration, and the belief that meaningful change can happen without asking clients to abandon who they are.
