About My Clients
I work with LGBTQIA+, Latinx, and BIPOC clients navigating stress, trauma, identity, and burnout. My clients are seekers and cycle-breakers ready to reconnect with their bodies and inner wisdom. Together we explore mind, body, spirit, and culture—honoring ancestral roots and the brilliance of your adaptations. You’re not broken—you’re brilliantly adaptive.
My Background and Approach
I’m Christopher “Topher” Scott, M.Ed., LPC-Associate (supervised by Lesley Lanier Smith, LPC-S), RYT-200, and Reiki Master. My path as a queer, Latinx therapist is rooted in both science and soul. With training in clinical mental health counseling, yoga, and mind-body healing, I integrate trauma-informed and polyvagal approaches with ancestral wisdom and cultural affirmation. I view symptoms as signals—messages from the body, mind, and spirit seeking balance. In our work, you’re invited to move gently toward wholeness, self-trust, and embodied peace. You’re not broken—you’re brilliantly adaptive.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
As a person with a diverse identity—queer, Latinx, spiritual, and deeply human—I believe healing happens at the intersection of personal, ancestral, and collective experience. My values are rooted in compassion, curiosity, and justice. I stand with LGBTQIA+ liberation, racial equity, and mental health access for marginalized communities. I see therapy as both sacred and practical—a space to honor the body’s wisdom, rewrite inherited narratives, and remember our belonging. My approach is guided by the belief that healing isn’t about perfection or pathology—it’s about connection, reclamation, and returning to wholeness together.
