About My Clients
When the pain is too much to handle alone, it is okay to ask for help! Most of my clients seek therapy from me because they want an experienced therapist who can be nurturing and direct (call me out!). They want to find ways to accept themselves, manage anxiety, heal from past trauma, regulate intense emotions, and develop a healthy relationship with food and their body.
My Background and Approach
I utilize an integrative eclectic approach - this means I am trained in multiple modalities and we figure out together what works for you! These include CBT, DBT, IFS, Gestalt, Solution focused, ACT, and specific eating disorder models.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe we are all capable of healing from past trauma and being able to develop self compassion to nurture our injured parts. As a member of the LGBTQ+ community and being neurodiverse, I am committed to embracing all of your parts and supporting you in ways that feel safe for YOU. I encourage utilizing support systems (family, friends, spirituality, etc) to help you live the life you want.
