My Background and Approach
As a therapist, Ms. Johnson utilizes an Eclectic approach to therapy and currently serves as a private practitioner working with a broad spectrum of clients. Ms. Johnson holds a Master of Arts degree in Professional Counseling, a Bachelor of Arts degree in Social Work, and an Associate of Applied Science degree in Human Services. Ms. Johnson is a Certified Professional Counselor Supervisor, a National Board of Certified Counselors, and an active member of the National Association for Alcoholism and Drug Abuse Counselors. In addition to being a prominent therapist in the state of Georgia, Ms. Johnson is an interactive, cognitive behavior therapist, and Ms. Johnson has presented at national conferences and to general audiences all around the world. Finally, Ms. Johnson has spoken on various topics that plague our society today, such as addiction, domestic violence, drug treatment, offender reentry treatment, mental health treatment, and sexual abuse treatment.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Ms. Johnson's societal belief, as a therapist, is that through therapy we as a society can "Take back our families, One community at a time!"
