About My Clients

You don't have to know exactly what's wrong or what you want to change before coming to therapy. Maybe you're overwhelmed, struggling in a relationship, figuring out who you are, or just know that something isn't working. I offer a warm, affirming space where you can talk honestly, feel understood, and start figuring out what you need.

My Background and Approach

My approach to therapy is warm, collaborative, and down-to-earth. As an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist, I bring experience working with teens, adults, and families, along with a background in school counseling, restorative justice, mediation, and conflict resolution. These experiences have taught me that people often need to feel heard and understood before they can begin to make meaningful change. I draw from evidence-based approaches while recognizing that therapy isn’t one-size-fits-all. Together, we’ll explore what’s happening beneath the surface, notice patterns that may be keeping you stuck, and find practical ways to move forward. I value authenticity, curiosity, humor, and connection in the therapy room and strive to create an affirming, judgment-free space for all clients. My goal isn’t to tell you who to be, but to help you better understand yourself, strengthen your relationships, and feel more confident navigating what comes next.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I believe everyone deserves a space where they can show up as themselves and feel heard, respected, and valued. I’m committed to providing therapy that is LGBTQIA+ affirming and welcoming of people of all identities, backgrounds, and family structures. Much of my professional life has centered around helping people navigate conflict, find their voice, and better understand one another. My background in restorative justice and community mediation has shaped my belief that listening with curiosity, rather than judgment, can be incredibly powerful. I also believe therapy can be meaningful without feeling formal or intimidating. I value authenticity, humor, compassion, and real conversation. I won’t assume I know your experience better than you do. I’ll bring curiosity, openness, and respect for the person you are, while creating space for you to explore the person you’re becoming.
