I provide a space for women of diverse backgrounds—women just like you—to speak your truth--uncensored. By naming the things that have held you back, tripped you up, or torn you down, you able to begin the process of healing and move forward.
My Background and Approach
In therapy, I use a variety of evidence based treatment practices in combination with alternative healing tools to best fit you and the goals you want to accomplish. Together we will heal your heart, nurture your spirit, and restore your joy. I take pride in lifting up and encouraging women, and the people who love them. I am passionate about and trained to work with and support pregnant/new moms experiencing perinatal mood disorders and individuals who have experienced trauma. Therapy with me can take place in my office or online in a location convenient for you. Deciding to make life changes can be scary and intimidating, but you can do it! I invite you to resist the urge to wait, show up for yourself, and take a step toward creating the life that you want. Allow me to help you change the way you think about yourself, your circumstances, your future, and regain your clarity of mind and confidence.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I am passionate about mental health awareness, especially in communities of color. I don't believe that anyone should suffer in silence because of narratives that have been passed down through generations about "who" therapy is for and why certain groups should not go to therapy. I want to see people heal because when they do, so do the communities they are a part of.
