About My Clients
As a licensed therapist and board-certified art therapist, I support teens, adults, and athletes with ADHD, anxiety, mood disorders, neurodivergence, emotional dysregulation, grief, parenting challenges, and substance use. I blend trauma-informed therapy, CBT/DBT, creative approaches, holistic care, and ketamine-assisted therapy to foster growth and resilience.
My Background and Approach
I’m a licensed therapist and board-certified art therapist with a Master’s from the University of Louisville. My personal experiences—growing up in a family affected by substance use, living with ADHD, parenting two neurodivergent boys, participating in competitive sports, and serving as a caregiver for 10 years—deeply inform my compassionate, client-centered approach. Before becoming an art therapist, I gained extensive experience working in the medical field alongside medically ill patients. I have also worked professionally in substance use, palliative care, hospice, severe persistent mental illness, and schools. I blend CBT, DBT, trauma-informed, somatic, and integrative approaches, adapting creative/art therapy methods to each individual’s needs to help clients build resilience, process emotions, and achieve meaningful growth.
