About My Clients
I work with adults navigating substance use, recovery, relapse prevention, and co-occurring mental health concerns. I understand that seeking help can feel overwhelming, especially when substance use is connected to stress, relationships, trauma, grief, anxiety, depression, or major life changes. My goal is to create a supportive, judgment-free environment where clients can be honest about where they are and work toward realistic goals. I support clients at different stages of change, including
My Background and Approach
I am a Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialist with extensive experience working with individuals affected by substance use and co-occurring mental health concerns. My background includes outpatient substance use treatment, intensive outpatient services, opioid use disorder support, group counseling, telehealth, care coordination, crisis intervention, treatment planning, and recovery-focused services. My approach is person-centered, trauma-informed, and focused on meeting clients where they are. I use evidence-informed approaches such as motivational interviewing, cognitive behavioral strategies, psychoeducation, relapse prevention, and stages-of-change principles when appropriate. I believe effective counseling should be collaborative rather than judgmental. Together, we can identify barriers, build practical coping skills, strengthen recovery supports, and develop goals that are meaningful and realistic for you.
