About My Clients
Maybe anxiety won't quiet down, childhood wounds keep surfacing in your relationships, you're burned out from caring for everyone else, or you're healing from hurt in a faith community. You don't need the right words to reach out. I offer teens (12+) and adults across Florida a warm, unhurried virtual space to be heard — at your pace, honoring your story. Free 15-minute consultation.
My Background and Approach
I'm Toni C. Gayle, a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), National Certified Counselor (NCC), and Master of Education (MEd) with more than 20 years of experience supporting teens and adults through anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, relationship challenges, and major life transitions. Before private practice, I spent years in education and clinical settings — including serving as a school dean — which taught me how systems, families, and communities shape our mental health. That perspective shapes my work: I don't just treat symptoms, I help you understand the patterns underneath them. My approach is trauma-informed, evidence-based, and deeply collaborative. I believe you are the expert on your own life — my role is to walk alongside you, help you make sense of what you're carrying, and give you tools that actually fit your life. Sessions move at your pace. Nothing is forced, and your values are always respected.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe therapy should be accessible — that's why my practice is Medicaid approved, accepts Medicare, and most insurances. I offer self-pay options with clear Good Faith Estimates, and partner with Open Path Collective for reduced-rate sessions. I believe every person's story deserves respect, whatever your background, identity, or beliefs. Faith can be a source of deep healing — and sometimes deep hurt. I honor both. If spirituality matters to you, we can make it part of the work; if you've been wounded by it, this is a safe place to heal without judgment or pressure. I believe healing happens in relationship, at your pace, and that reaching out is a sign of strength — not weakness. I'm based in Homestead, Florida, and run a fully virtual practice because I believe therapy should fit into real life — not the other way around.
