About My Clients
I work with high-functioning women, including college-aged and young adults, who feel overwhelmed, anxious, or stuck in their heads while trying to keep up with school, work, relationships, or daily responsibilities. Many struggle with overthinking, perfectionism, self-criticism, and body image concerns. On the outside, they appear to be managing well, but internally feel exhausted, uncertain, or not “enough.” They’re seeking support, clarity, and a more balanced relationship with themselves
My Background and Approach
My approach is collaborative, supportive, and tailored to your needs. I integrate DBT, ACT, mindfulness, and person-centered therapy to help you both build practical coping skills and better understand underlying patterns contributing to anxiety, burnout, and self-doubt. In sessions, we focus on managing overthinking, improving emotional regulation, reducing perfectionism, and developing healthier self-talk. I also support clients in building confidence, setting boundaries, and improving their relationship with themselves and their bodies. With experience in schools, juvenile systems, substance use programs, and community mental health, I bring a well-rounded perspective and adapt my approach to meet you where you are.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe therapy should be a space where you can show up as you are without pressure to have everything figured out. My goal is to create a nonjudgmental, supportive environment where you feel understood and safe to explore your thoughts and emotions. I view challenges as learned patterns that once served a purpose, and therapy as an opportunity to understand and shift those patterns with curiosity and compassion. I also believe meaningful change comes from combining practical coping strategies with deeper self-awareness. Self-compassion is central to my work, especially for clients who are highly self-critical or tied to perfectionism. Ultimately, therapy is about helping you feel more grounded, confident, and aligned with yourself in everyday life.
