About My Clients
My clients are brave individuals seeking healing, growth, and understanding. They may be facing trauma, anxiety, or life transitions, and are committed to making lasting change. They value a genuine, compassionate approach, and appreciate a safe space where they can be themselves without judgment. Whether using EMDR for deep healing or finding comfort in my mini-pig rescue’s lessons of patience and trust, they embrace the journey toward a healthier, more empowered life.
My Background and Approach
My approach to therapy is client-centered, compassionate, and flexible. I draw from systems theory, relational-cultural therapy, and EMDR to help clients process trauma and emotional experiences. I believe therapy should be tailored to each person’s unique needs, and I meet clients where they are—emotionally, physically, and mentally. Whether in an office, virtually, or even outdoors, I strive to create a space that feels authentic, comfortable, and empowering. I work with adolescents and adults navigating life transitions, grief, trauma, and personal growth. I have a special passion for supporting veterans, but I welcome individuals from all walks of life. I value the power of authentic, collaborative relationships and believe that healing happens in connection. My goal is always to help clients feel heard, respected, and supported as they work through challenges and build resilience.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
As a therapist, I believe healing happens in connection—whether with people or animals. I’ve learned a lot from my mini-pig rescue in South Texas, where patience, trust, and sometimes a snack are the keys to building relationships. I see therapy as a collaborative journey where we work together to explore your challenges and find ways to move forward. I value authenticity, compassion, and creating a space where you feel safe to be yourself. I also find the outdoors to be incredibly therapeutic. Nature has a unique way of grounding us and offering perspective, and I’m passionate about incorporating outdoor sessions when appropriate. Whether you’re seeking relief from trauma, working through grief, or navigating a life transition, I’m here to support you with honesty, humor, and respect. I believe that therapy should honor your pace and needs, and that together we can create lasting, meaningful change.
