My Personal Beliefs and Interests
The best therapists aren’t just highly trained—they’re deeply human. I believe that to truly guide others through their healing, a therapist must first do their own work. I’ve spent over 30 years in personal therapy, which has given me a profound understanding of the emotional and psychological terrain my clients are navigating. I don’t just know the theories—I’ve lived the process of transformation, growth, and self-compassion. Compassion is at the heart of everything I do. It’s not just a feeling—it’s a way of being with people that creates safety, trust, and the possibility for real change. I’ve learned that empathy and attunement aren’t mysterious gifts reserved for a few—they are teachable, practical skills that couples can learn and practice together. In our work, we’ll explore how to show up for each other with presence and curiosity, especially when it’s hard. These relational tools can become the foundation for lasting connection and emotional intimacy.
