My Background and Approach
As a Licensed Professional Counselor and certified Child & Adolescent Trauma Professional, I bring a grounded, intentional approach to therapy. My work is focused and purposeful. We begin with what’s happening now and build toward meaningful change using strategies that fit your life. I specialize in trauma-informed care and draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to help you understand how thoughts, feelings, and behaviors are connected. This awareness is key to breaking patterns and building resilience. I integrate mindfulness to support the mind-body connection, reduce anxiety, and increase emotional regulation. Therapy with me is collaborative and structured—together we'll process your experiences organically, to create meaningful change. I provide tools and personalized homework between sessions to deepen insight and reinforce progress. My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I’ve served clients from a multitude of backgrounds—including adolescents, college students, high-achieving professionals, and survivors of domestic violence. My years as a school counselor deepened my understanding of how grief, identity, and pressure show up across developmental stages and socioeconomic experiences. I’ve supported youth grieving the loss of a parent, women rebuilding after domestic abuse, and clients navigating perfectionism and societal expectations. My graduate studies focused on attachment theory, and I bring both clinical insight and lived experience into the therapy room. I value inclusive care, cultural humility, spirituality and intersectional advocacy. Therapy with me is structured, affirming, and responsive to each client’s lived experience.
