About My Clients
The nature of my experience includes providing individual, family, and group therapy to a varied population. I have worked in the areas of marital/couples issues, depression, anxiety, addictions, gender identity, sexual identity and many more.
My Background and Approach
My desire to become a therapist came about during my adolescence. During that time a close relative was diagnosed with Schizophrenia. Viewing his journey and seeing how poorly people with mental health concerns were treated propelled me into the helping field. My approach involves creating an individualized plan to fit each client’s needs. My overall goal is to equip each client with the skills needed to manage their daily life stressors. Together we can collaborate to achieve your goals, find inner peace, and make your happiness a priority. I strive to assist clients in learning ways to apply what is discussed in session into their day-to-day life to create momentum and positive changes, while helping you regain your sense of self.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Taking steps to being therapy is not easy. This is one of the many reasons it is important that the therapist you work with is highly trained, ethical, and a constant learner. In this current climate, everyone needs a safe space to share and to be themselves. I strive to provide a safe place to experience and process their emotions, identify unhelpful patterns, and learn healthy coping skills.
