About My Clients
I specialize in the next generation: kids, teens, and BIPOC college students. My clients are high-achievers who often feel the weight of expectation or the sting of being "the only one" in the room. I support students navigating identity shifts, teens facing social pressure, and parents seeking a psychologist who understands their cultural background. If you want a therapist who can talk clinical goals and culture in the same breath, we’re a great fit.
My Background and Approach
My approach is defined by my proprietary RCB Framework™: Rooted, Culture-First, and Brave. Rooted: My work is anchored in PhD-level clinical science and evidence-based practices. Culture-First: I prioritize your lived experience and identity. We don't ignore the world outside the therapy room; we integrate it. Brave: We move beyond "safe spaces" to build the courage needed for real-world action. I am based in McDonough, GA, but as a PSYPACT-authorized psychologist, I am licensed to see clients via telehealth in 22+ states. This allows me to provide continuity of care for students even when they go away to school.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that representation in mental health is a form of social justice. Growing up, I saw a gap between clinical excellence and cultural relevance, and I made it my mission to bridge it. I believe that therapy shouldn't feel like a sterile clinical exam; it should feel like a partnership. I show up with my lemonade braids and my Nikes because I want you to know that you have permission to show up as your full, unedited self. When we are rooted in who we are, we are capable of extraordinary change.
