About My Clients
Dr. Rice serves a diverse patient population, including those with complex medical, psychological and treatment resistant presentations. She works with ages 16 and older, for both evaluations (neuropsychological, intelligence, ADHD, traumatic brain injury, personality) and in counseling as individuals, couples and/or families. She has had success in treating those with dementia, neurodivergence, disordered eating, PTSD/trauma, substance abuse issues and spiritual difficulties.
My Background and Approach
Dr. Rice is skilled in comprehensive analysis of behavior and function with consideration given to developmental factors, personality, medical comorbidities, impact of medications and support structure. She utilizes a holistic, individualized strengths-based approach to optimize treatment and/or rehabilitation plans for her patients. At Divergent Neuropsychology, PLLC Dr. Rice understands how important discretion is, as well as how busy life can be. That’s why in addition to in office counseling/therapy, and assessment, she offers in-home counseling/therapy and assessments (as appropriate). In-home services are an excellent option for those within fifteen miles the Divergent Neuropsychology office in Prosper, TX. Whether you want to meet at your home, at your office, or even in the local library, Dr. Rice will come to you, if you choose. You save travel time while maintaining the confidentiality of your treatment.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Everyone can benefit from a neuropsychological evaluation to get a better understanding of their brain-behavior connection. Everyone can benefit from psychotherapy/counseling to understand themselves and how they interact with others. Healing and recovery are possible for everyone, but each individual must take an active role in their own healing journey.
