About My Clients
I am offering both virtual and in person sessions to new and current clients. I work with adults who are struggling with life's challenges such as anxiety, low self-esteem, depression, life transitions, grief and loss, and trauma.
My Background and Approach
I employ a person centered and strengths-based approach where I get to know and understand you as an individual and your life experiences. In therapy sessions, I incorporate a variety of techniques and modalities and tailor them to meet the specific needs of my clients. My therapeutic approaches include Person-Centered Therapy, Psychodynamic Therapy, Interpersonal Therapy, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). Sessions with me might include working on identifying negative thought patterns and cognitive restructuring, mindfulness and relaxation training, and distress tolerance.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that therapy should provide a safe space to allow an individual to explore their thoughts and feelings and provide the opportunity for better understanding of yourself and those areas where you are struggling. My role as a therapist is to help guide you in working through the challenges you are facing and assist you with recognizing the strength within yourself that will facilitate the growth process.
