About My Clients
My clinical focus is in treating women who are struggling to manage the stress of grief and loss, anxiety, depression, relationships, parenting, work-life balance, caring for a loved one, etc. I specialize in women in need of professional support while navigating infertility, pregnancy, childbirth, and parenting.
My Background and Approach
I received my Master’s Degree in Science of Social Work in 2011 from the University of Texas at Austin and went on to work in a variety of healthcare settings with a focus on chronic and terminal illness, dementia, and end-of-life. Since becoming a parent six years ago, I've shifted my professional interest and client base to include women in need of professional support while navigating the stresses of infertility, pregnancy, childbirth, and parenting. I also provides clinical supervision for LLMSWs both individually and in group settings. Opening up to someone new can be incredibly stressful and scary - but, it doesn't have to be. I am happy to speak with you for a few minutes, over the phone or in person (at no cost), to help you get to know me a bit better and learn more about my practice style. There is no commitment and it will be completely confidential.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I'm a liberal, Jewish feminist who believes in karma. I love cats, reading, the sound of rain, and cilantro. I believe in being kind, generous, and understanding. I try to always assume positive intent and value authentic personal connection. Therapy isn't about me - it's about you. We don't have to share interests or beliefs to work together. Regardless of your circumstances, I want to listen and I want to help.
