My Background and Approach
Hi there! I’m a licensed marriage and family therapist and a behavior analyst here in Ontario, CA. I work with adults and couples on become a better version of themselves using Solution Focused Brief Therapy approach. The process of therapy is transformative and much more valuable than anything that’s tangible. Therapy can result in positive gains that continue to grow after therapy stops. It can save lives, save marriages relationships, and overcome mental blocks barriers that’s holding you back from living and having the best life you desired. I love seeing my clients become their own hero and shero! She has a background in multiple areas which include mental health, parent training, in-home therapy, family therapy, behavior therapy (ABA), school counseling, decreasing challenging behaviors, assessment, consultation, and supervision of interns.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I see my clients as an individual who have strengths and struggles just like everybody else. The difference between those who struggles and made it, are the one who have the courage to step into the struggles, taking the harder road, leaping into the unknown/uncertainty of the outcomes, persevere despite the issues, and brave enough to face the fears to get to where they want to be in life. You will see that working with me is like talking to a friend. I'm easy to talk to, you can tell this during our consultation. I work with you at your own pace. I don't give advice or push you to do something you don't want to do. I use humor, demonstrate empathy, and human connection more than just using inventions. I believe having good working relationship worth more than giving you homework or any 10 interventions combine. I'm people first, therapist second.
