About My Clients
I work with teens and adults navigating anxiety, trauma, faith transitions, and cultural identity challenges. Many of my clients feel overwhelmed or disconnected and want a space to process their story, develop coping skills, and move toward healing. I especially support those exploring spiritual identity, healing from past experiences, or going through major life changes. Therapy with me is compassionate, practical, and culturally aware.
My Background and Approach
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor offering trauma-informed care to teens and adults. I specialize in EMDR therapy for anxiety, complex trauma, and attachment wounds. My approach integrates evidence-based methods like CBT, somatic grounding, and narrative work. I also support clients exploring faith, deconstruction, or spiritual identity with sensitivity and respect. Whether you're processing religious trauma, navigating cultural tension, or healing from past experiences, I offer a space that is clinically grounded, spiritually aware, and culturally responsive. Clients often describe me as calm, collaborative, and attuned to the deeper layers of their story.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe we are shaped by the stories we carry ,from family, faith, culture, and the world around us. As an Asian American son of immigrants who grew up in a Korean American Christian household, I understand the complexities of cultural tension, spiritual expectation, and identity formation. My work is rooted in honoring your story and helping you uncover the strengths already within you. Therapy can be a place to rewrite painful narratives, reconnect with your voice, and walk toward freedom with greater clarity and compassion.
