About My Clients
I specialize in helping your child, adolescent and family cope with trauma, depression, anxiety, stress, grief and loss, and behavior concerns. I have over 12 years of experience working with children, adolescents and adults who have experienced various traumatic events, such as physical abuse, sexual abuse, neglect, community violence, domestic violence and divorce. I have also worked with victims of trafficking, violence, and undocumented immigrants.
My Background and Approach
I am certified in Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy(TFCBT) and Parent Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT). I have advanced training in Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy and Integrated Treatment for Complex Trauma (ITCT) in children and adolescents. I use a trauma-informed approach to empower you and your family. Sessions will focus on your unique needs and together we will select the evidence-based approach that best fits with your goals. My approach is collaborative, relational and respectful. I will work to provide you the support you and your family need to heal.
