I believe that any addiction that someone is struggling with is an attempt to meet a legitimate need but in an unhealthy way. I want to help you identify & meet that legitimate need healthily because it deserves to be met. I utilize a combination of CBT, Motivational Interviewing, & IFS to help you connect with yourself, get your needs met healthily, challenge unhealthy relapse justifications, & surround yourself with healthy people.

I help men identify & challenge unhelpful masculine norms that have affected how they go about doing life & relationships. I help men explore where they learned these unhelpful beliefs & help them identify what authenticity looks like for them.

I use a combination of EFT (Emotionally Focused Therapy) and IFS (Internal Family System) to help couples identify disconnecting communication cycles that occur in their relationship. We will then create a safe environment for couples to connect & work through past hurts & relational wounds so each partner's needs are heard and met in the relationship.

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) helps you understand the connection between your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors and how they influence each other. It's like untangling a messy knot in your mind by identifying unhelpful thinking patterns and learning practical strategies to change them, ultimately helping you cope better with life's challenges and improve your overall well-being.

EMDR, or Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing, is a type of therapy that helps people process distressing memories by using bilateral stimulation, like eye movements or tapping on the knees in a pattern, to help the brain reprocess traumatic experiences, reducing their emotional impact and associated symptoms. Basically, It is a way to kickstart the brain's natural way of digesting memories when difficult memories, like traumatic ones, become hard to digest.

Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy, or EFT for short, is a type of counseling aimed at helping couples improve their relationships by focusing on emotions and attachment patterns. In EFT, therapists guide couples to identify and express their underlying emotions and needs, helping them to better understand and connect with each other. By fostering a secure emotional bond, EFT helps couples break negative cycles of interaction and build a stronger, more fulfilling relationship.
