Do you feel like you are the smartest, dumbest person in the room? Were you told you were not living up to your potential? There is so much more to ADHD than being hyper-active and it's not that you can't pay attention, it's more likely that you pay attention to everything. You are probably smart, frustrated, and sensitive.

Americans, in general, don't talk about grief and loss. Contrary to company and school policy, we do not grieve in 2 to 5 days. The death of a child, a spouse/partner, a close friend, parent, or grandparent can be, as one person described, "soul destroying". We can grieve for the same person or loss multiple times in our lives. Many people feel "crazy" or that no one understands. Grief can be similar to depression, but it is different and normal.

ADHD is a misunderstood, poorly named, issue that some of the most successful people in the world have (Olympians, CEOs, Entrepreneurs). I can partner with you to understand and harness the strengths of ADHD as well as find the skills and techniques shore up the parts of ADHD that are less helpful in our modern world.

While I use a variety of options and choices, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) best explains the core of my approach. The goal of ACT is for you to have an intentional, meaningful life with the psychological flexibility to handle the difficult times that will come in the future. How? By understanding what you value, what is important to you, and making intention choices based on your values and what is important to you. In other words, the goal is to be the best you that you are.
