About My Clients
You're a 5A Therapy client if you: 1) Are aware of the issues and don't know how to fix them. 2) Need guidance with your personal mission, purpose, or passion. 3) Have anxiety (this is a big one.) 4) Have dual-diagnosis. 5) Want to better yourself overall and need a safe space to do so. 5A Therapy provides psychological knowledge for building awareness, acknowledgement, acceptance, gathering answers, and learning how to realistically apply them to obtain the results that you desire.
My Background and Approach
Education: M.S. in Mental Health Counseling: Nova Southeastern University B.A. in Psychology: Florida International University Certifications: 1) Florida Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor 2) Child Development Associate credential 3) Certified Clinical Anxiety Treatment Professional (CCATP) 4 years of working with children, adolescents, adults, and elders produces knowledge of the human lifespan, along with the concerns and solutions that come along with it for relief, overtime. As a CCATP, I specialize in reducing anxiety symptoms based on both the mental and neurological techniques and solutions.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I can attest that most humans are not using the one tool that can reduce or prevent many of our issues - critical thinking. We have to learn to make decisions with our brains just as much as we do with our heart. Yet, pride tends to stand in our way because we want to experience the instant gratification of being right, even if we know we aren't. "Clearing out the corruption" by removing traits and behaviors of yourself that were never supposed to be there can help to reveal the truth of what you were supposed to be in the first place. 5A Therapy does this by helping you become Aware of the issue(s), Acknowledge the issues(s), Accept the fact that you have them, obtain Answers for issue(s), and practically Apply them for realistic results.
