About My Clients

Have you found yourself lost in anxiety, fear, and confusion? Maybe your muscles are always tense, you have racing thoughts when trying to sleep, or you find yourself feeling angrier more often. Whether it is through a traumatic experience, grief, or a lifelong struggle, we often need a guide to help us navigate these difficult times. I can be your guide! I primarily help people in the medical community, emergency services, the military, and young men; however, I am happy to work with anyone!

My Background and Approach

I help people by focusing on the body as well as the mind; targeting stress and finding ways to release it is just as important as processing one's thoughts and feelings. I incorporate nature into my work and find ways that nature can help heal us. My caring and honest approach helps people to identify what they are feeling, thinking, and how to move forward. I have spent several years gaining experience in providing psychotherapy and incorporating nature into my work, most notably by helping Native Americans in Baltimore City and working with the Center for Nature-Informed Therapy. I have multiple years of experience helping others and have extensive training in Psychological theories and interventions. I also have specialized training in Nature-Informed Therapy, which allows me to bring nature into my sessions.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I believe that nature is one of the most important relationships in our lives. The more disconnected we are from nature, the more anxious, stressed, and depressed we are. By connecting and having a reciprocal relationship with nature, we can feel less isolated, more confident, and have a connection to a greater meaning than ourselves. We must take care of nature the way nature takes care of us. By doing so, we become better people and help the world be a better place. I believe that we are all capable of change, but acceptance and empathy towards ourselves is one of the most important skills we can learn. My personal motto comes from the great Carl Rogers: “The curious paradox is that when I accept myself just as I am, then I can change.”
